Breckenridge is in Summit County, Colorado
in the heart of the Rocky Mountain's ski area, just 2 hours from the Denver International Airport.
The town of Breckenridge offers more than 400 boutiques, galleries and
restaurants. Activities for the adventurous as well as the relaxed range from
winter fun, concerts, golf, hiking, camping, biking, fishing, kayaking, horseback riding,
shopping or simply relaxing at the spa. Winter in Breckenridge offers excitement and romance with skiing, snowboarding,
ice skating, snowmobiling,cross country or nordic skiing, sleigh rides, helicopter skiing,
and of course.....apres-ski.
Summit County boasts 4 ski areas;
Breckenridge, Copper Mountain, Keystone, and Arapahoe Basin, all with incredible snow. Each
ski area has a wide variety of terrain for skiers at all levels of ability. Breckenridge, Copper, and Keystone have ski
schools for beginners, advanced skiers or those just wanting to improve their techniques. The Vail and Beaver
Creek ski areas are just over the pass, only about a 30 minute drive from
Frisco. The Breckenridge, Copper and Keystone ski areas all have snowmaking equipment in
place to make sure that your winter Colorado vacation activities have plenty of snow.
